Fawn Mckay
Fawn Brodie McKay, who was born 15 September 1915 was born within Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY was raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, utilized her writing talent as well as expertise in research to write the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 with the title: No Man knows My History, she used both. This title is taken from the funeral sermons of Joseph Smith, who was the founding father of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. The preacher shocked the audience when he said proclaiming: "You don't even know my name. I haven't even met the inside of my mind." Nobody knows my story. I'm unable to share it. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since then, at least three writers have taken up the challenge. Many have abused him some even deified him. While a handful have attempted at diagnosing him clinically. It's not so much that the documents are insufficient, but rather they are fiercely contradictory. It is a difficult task to assemble these documents and to distinguish first-hand stories from the third-hand versions and combine Mormon and non Mormon stories into an encapsulated mosaic. It's exciting and instructive. Such was the task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Thaddeus Stewards, a result of her writing and research was what made her a known author.
