Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her leading roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. As a child living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of dreams. She was raised by a mother who loved to watch films. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities and particularly enjoyed drama. She was a huge fan of acting alongside her peers and was a participant in school's stage shows. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actress decided acting was her chosen career. She went to in the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved it. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to produce documentaries over a period of three months. The first assignment was to be production assistant for television documentaries following her successful completion of the assignment. She then moved to produce documentaries. She still had a dream to work as an actress even though she was satisfied at her position. Her career in acting started with a minor role alongside Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has appeared in many popular movies and television shows.
